Where the mower stops, we start

Every lawn has places the mower can't reach: tight against fences, around tree trunks, along the footpath, under the trampoline. Left alone, those fringes grow long and ragged, and the whole section looks unfinished no matter how good the mow is. Trimming is the fix — a careful pass with the line trimmer that brings every edge back into line.

It is also the difference street appeal is made of. A crisp edge along the driveway and footpath frames the lawn the way a frame sets off a picture. Visitors, neighbours and potential buyers notice it even if they can't name it. When a Queenstown rental or holiday home needs to look cared for between guests, the edges are what sell it.

Edges, borders and awkward corners

Our trimming visits cover the full perimeter of the job: path and driveway edges cut back to a clean line, fence lines cleared of the grass that creeps underneath, and growth around trees, shrubs, posts and garden features cut back without damaging bark or planting. Clippings that land on hard surfaces get blown or swept clear, so paths look as good as the lawn.

Trimming pairs naturally with mowing — most regular clients have both done in the same visit — but it also stands alone. If you mow yourself but hate the edging, or the fence lines have run wild while the lawn itself is fine, a trimming-only visit gets everything back under control quickly.
